Problem Statement:
Designed for patients with dementia. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than fifty-five million people suffer from this condition. These patients cannot remember time, people, places, or even where their homes are! This causes many difficulties in their daily lives. That's why we create these special glasses for them.
Solution:
Our Smart Glass looks like normal glasses, but it has buttons on the sides with three important functions - Location, Navigation and SOS. The location function helps them locate themselves, the navigation guides them when they get lost, and the SOS calls for help in emergencies. Extra features include Reminder Function, a to-do list appearing on the glasses to remind them of important tasks, and built-in speakers to allow elderly users with poor vision to give voice instructions.
