Project Name:

Target Group:
People with disabilities
Solution:
Reason for Design: During a previous theme learning week, a visually impaired individual shared with us that they wished for an "Anywhere Door," signifying that existing modes of transportation are highly inconvenient for the visually impaired. Therefore, we decided to create a solution for them. While designing, we came up with a core philosophy: We do not want people with disabilities to be viewed by society merely as passive recipients of care, so we approach this with the concept of a discrimination-free society. We aim to recruit individuals with disabilities and the elderly. Although they may face mobility challenges, they may possess more experience in customer service roles. Therefore, we choose to hire people with disabilities and the elderly, hoping to create an inclusive society. Furthermore, promoting employment for people with disabilities is a key developmental trend in modern society. This is not only grounded in human rights and social justice, but it also expands the human resource pool, drives economic growth, and enhances corporate social responsibility. Features: The website enables visually impaired individuals to reach their destinations on foot via a voice navigation feature. Additionally, they can use a ride-hailing feature to choose platforms such as GOGOVAN and UBER, where human customer service representatives will assist them with booking and managing their rides. Window to the Visually Impaired — The Guiding Voice Network Version 1.1 has been launched. As our company operates as a social enterprise, we will only require a 2.5% fee for daily operations to alleviate operational pressure (of which, if 1.25% is subsidized, visually impaired individuals will only need to pay 1.25%). Looking ahead, we hope to establish our own fleet of vehicles to ease transit connection pressures. Conclusion: The Guiding Voice Network functions by both promoting the employment of individuals with disabilities and providing visually impaired individuals with the means to travel to and from their destinations.
